Ghajnsielem Primary, the only Gozitan school in the Tablet Pilot Project

Għajnsielem Primary is the only school in the Gozo College with a whole classroom of students included in the Introduction of Tablet pilot project. All the students presently attending the Year 4 classroom together with their teacher and LSAs were each given a LearnPad Tablet. The teacher and LSAs all had to attend related training, and ongoing support is provided by the eLearning Department and the LearnPad Tablet supplier. Participating students are allowed to take the tablet home. Some of the weekly lessons are being carried out on the tablet. Resources are also sent by the teacher to the students’ tablets for further reference and revision by the students. The tablets, provided for free by the supplier, will be returned to their respective supplier at the end of the pilot project in March 2015.
